Specifications include, but are not limited to: The College is seeking to retain a consultant with the intent to develop a detailed Campus Physical Security Plan to provide assessment and planning for the following aspects as it affects overall campus safety: • Provide security system maintenance specifications for the College. • Analysis and recommendation of available technology and system requirements to meet the needs. • Analysis, recommendations, and development of electronic access control system expansion and upgrade plan for campus buildings (classrooms, utility rooms, offices, etc.); • Analysis, recommendations, and development of video surveillance system expansion and upgrade plan; • Analysis and recommendation of fire alarm/life safety system upgrades; • Analysis and recommendation of emergency communications upgrades; • Analysis and recommendation of environmental design solutions (campus access, landscaping, architecture, and lighting.; • Recommendation of design guidelines for physical security and life safety systems (access control, video surveillance, panic buttons, fire alarm systems, mass notification systems, emergency call stations, etc.) for construction projects including buildings and site work (parking lots, etc.)’ • Cost/benefit analysis of recommendations.
