1. The approximate operating dates for Project P.L.A.Y. Camp will be from July 7, 2025 to August 15, 2025, Monday thru Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. for approximately six(6) weeks depending on location and date availability. The Department of Parks and Recreation reserves the right to change the approximate dates, days, times and location for this camp with the option of conducting this camp at two different locations. Scheduled routes and number of participants to be determined based upon registration for the camp. 2. Location of Camp: Location to be Huntington Union Free School District or South Huntington Union Free School District and a tentative location at Manor Field. Location(s) to be determined at a later date. 3. Vehicles to be provided with air conditioning and heater for daily camper pick-up and drop-off as per the following specifications: a) Three (3) or a maximum of five (5) standard school buses (44 adult or 66 children passenger size) are required based upon the number of campers enrolled and the location of their residence in the Town of Huntington for daily pick-up and drop off. b) Daily buses to be available for a period of at least one (1) hour for the following times: 7:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. and 2:45 – 4:00 p.m. 4. Vendor is responsible for obtaining directions for buses to all sites. 5. The contractor will ensure that at least one (1) run must be made by the bus driver prior to the start of the camp to confirm the schedule.
