Nyack U.F.S.D. consists of three elementary schools, one middle school, one high school and one non-public school located within our school district boundaries. Behavioral Specialist Services will include, but may not be limited to: 1. Identify behavioral modification supports for Department programs to maximize positive outcomes 2. Program evaluations 3. Identify supports for learners within inclusive educational environments 4. Behavioral Observation of classes, interviews with staff, record and data reviews, analysis of data 5. Assist when needed in the development of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP). 6. Clinical Oversight and guidance in implementation of behavioral methodology, including but not limited to: a. Training strategies for staff development b. Development of educational/clinical programs c. Curriculum modification 7. Support for Professional Development of Staff 8. Support for reducing challenging behaviors of learners 9. Prepare and submit all required paperwork in an accurate and timely fashion a. Written consultation notes that summarize observations and offer suggestions for future considerations should be completed no later than 30 days from date of observation; Notes must include date and time of consultation period and a brief narrative of services provided. b. Consultation log must be maintained and emailed to Nyack UFSD weekly
