Monroe County, as the owner and permittee of the Mill Seat Landfill, has a Property Value Protection Program. The purpose of this Program is to compensate the owners of listed properties for any monetary loss at the time of the sale of their property as a result of the sitting of the Mill Seat Landfill. (See the Mill Seat Landfill Community Benefits tab on the Town of Riga’s website at www.townofriga.org ) Monroe County is seeking New York State Certified Residential Appraisers with the intent to select up to ten (10) qualified appraisers - five (5) to be selected by Monroe County and five (5) by the Mill Seat Landfill Citizens Advisory Board. Respondents shall provide a copy of their valid New York State Certified Residential Appraiser license with their proposal.
