2.2 Detailed Scope of Work The goal of this project is two-fold: (1) to provide training for workers who are in the community and their supervisors, and (2) to develop a sustainable training center to continue the training going forward. Objectives/Deliverables: A. The Proposal shall include a clear outline of proposed training courses and a clear and concise summary of the content of each training module. Training modules shall include: 1. Program Management Training that will provide management-level staff with knowledge and skills needed to recruit, train and retain Violence Interrupters & Outreach Workers; 2. Use of data and strategic planning in this work; and 3. Violence Interruption and Reduction Training, including changing norms in individuals and the community and operationalizing the work. B. The Proposal shall include a detailed plan for selecting and training individuals from the community in a well-developed Train the Trainer program, along with a proposal for sustainability.
