New bull gears and wheels of US mfr. shall be used. Gear boxes shall be either repaired or replaced, as necessary, so as to provide good retention of crater grease. Curve Lubricator - Onboard - Graphite cartridge style - Furnish and Install lubricator on four wheels. A style should be chosen that is environmentally friendly, and that fully consumes the entire stick, i.e., no throw away cartridge butts. DC Traction Motors- D-77 or newer style, heavily re-wound with a new pinion gear installed is preferred, although re-manufactured with a new pinion gear installed is acceptable.
