The renovation and signage scope of work includes the demolition of the brick veneer, signage, and existing windows and doors. The building renovation comprises an exterior insulated rainscreen wall cladding system, operable and fixed thermal aluminum windows, aluminum entrance door on North Avenue, roof-mounted parapet screen with new aluminum coping along the two renovated exterior walls, and painting. The Horton Avenue stucco wall finish is to be repaired in preparation for a future mural. The electrical work includes wallmounted exterior LED light fixtures and wiring for illuminated signage. New signage comprises one illuminated projecting aluminum and acrylic light box sign with the business logo on North Avenue, wall-mounted direct-lit letters, and exterior vinyl to be applied at the building exterior. There is no change in use, egress, or occupancy proposed under this application. There is no site work.
