Specifications include, but are not limited to: The prime mover, broom shall be designed and manufactured in the United States for the specific purpose of snow removal, with a minimum 50,000 lb. GVW rating and approximate wheel base of 164".; The required configuration shall feature front mounted attachments, forward mounted cab design with near center steering, auxiliary power unit between operator cab and rear mounted carrier engine.; This unit shall be designed for one man operation, and have a fully enclosed, thermally and acoustically insulated, steel and glass cab mounted center frame, as far forward as good engineering practices will permit.; The operator shall be near center cab positioned for visibility in high speed snow removal operations.
