It isthe purpose of this Bid to have various grades of Asphalt Concrete conforming to the specifications herein, furnished and loaded into trucks of Essex County or those of its political subdivisions, for use on roadways throughout the County. All materials furnished under this Contract shall be in conformance with the “Standard Specifications for Construction and Materials of the New York State Department of Transportation”, January 1, 20221 , Section 400 – Hot Mix Asphalt and according to “Materials Method: MM 5.16 of the New York State Department of Transportation” and all addenda thereto; unless the same are modified by the Essex County Superintendent of Public Works or their authorized representative (ECDPW).
