Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Contractor will be responsible for the removal of all solid waste such as garbage, rubbish, trash, swill, including recyclables, but excluding regulated medical waste from site. 2. Contractor will provide containers and follow pick-up schedule, as detailed in Exhibit A – Campus Pick-up Schedule. Contractor will arrive between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Containers at designated pick-up points will be emptied on Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday, between the specified hours, at the frequency specified for all solid waste and recyclables, as detailed in Exhibit A. 3. Contractor will maintain containers in a manner acceptable to OPWDD regarding conditions of safety, sanitation, and appearance. 4. The Contractor will be required to comply with all Local, State, and Federal Laws, Regulations, and Ordinances governing the removal and disposal of all solid waste and recyclables. 5. Contractor will be responsible for all tipping fees, and related costs incurred with Franklin County Solid Waste Management Association (FCSWMA). Contractor will bill the tipping fees and service fees based on actual usage. Tipping fees will be included in the bid rate fee for services. 6. All solid waste and recyclables will be removed in an efficient and sanitary manner. All leaking or spilling of garbage by the Contractor during removal will be immediately cleaned up to prevent vermin infestation, unsanitary conditions, etc. OPWDD will not provide any assistance to the Contractor in cleaning leaks or spills. Continued violation will result in back charges for clean-up performed by OPWDD (or others) and may result in possible termination of services with the Contractor. 7. OPWDD will provide accessibility to pick-up points during the designated hours and will be responsible for snow/ice control and road maintenance. 8. OPWDD will be responsible for delivering the solid waste and recyclables to the pick-up points prior to the scheduled removal. 9. Contractor will visit the site on a periodic basis or at the request of OPWDD. Contractor will be responsible for noting any material handling and any access problems which may exist.
