Wheelbase – as required by chassis OEM and body manufacturer allowing maximum turning radius, curb to curb as well as wall to wall 5. Cab Axle – As required by chassis OEM and body manufacturer 6. Axles – Front:14,000 7. Axles – Rear: 26,000 lbs., minimum – single speed – geared as per OEM recommendations 8. Reinforced frame yield strength shall be 100,000 PSI, minimum, OEM frame reinforcement if necessary. 9. Frame resisting bending moment rated – 2,5000,000-inch lbs. minimum 10. Note: frame yield strength and R.B.M. ratings may be increased by the vendor if necessary. The vendor shall not decrease the specified frame yield strength or R.B.M ratings. 11. Springs – front: 14,000-lbs. minimum 12. Springs – rear: 26,000-lbs. minimum 13. Shocks: front required, rear if available through OEM, heavy duty as defined in OEM literature
