2023-11 - NY Sun-Community Solar Subscription

The Schenectady Municipal Housing Authority (SMHA) is seeking a qualified provider of bill credits under the New York-Sun Community Solar Program, otherwise known as Community Distributed Generation of Community Solar (CS). The SMHA is a public housing provider, located within National Grid's electric service territory, and consumes an estimated 4.3 million kWh annually. This usage comes from 207 individual accounts, 22 of which have an annual demand greater than 25 kW. The SMHA has entered into an agreement with Renewables Worldwide (RWW), to act as its consultant, and will rely on RWW's grading of proposals and recommendations while selecting a provider.
