RFP-2021-04 - Replacement of Concrete Push Wall at the Haverstraw Transfer Station

Replacement of an existing concrete and steel framed push wall at the Haverstraw Municipal Solid Waste Transfer Station, including installation of helical piles for structural foundation support.  Work shall include demolition and recycling of concrete (transport to Rockland Green’s Concrete and Asphalt Crushing Facility); furnishing and installing helical piles (battered and vertical); furnishing and installing reinforced concrete footings, new concrete push wall, and top slab; potentially furnishing and installing a protective steel plate on the face of the  push wall (add alternate); and associated work requirements.  Also be advised that construction activities will be performed while Transfer Station operations continue using a temporary push wall provided by others. All work to be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications included with this RFP 2021-04.
