RFB-25-18 - Summer Food Services - Rensselaer County Department of Youth

The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible Bidder meeting Rensselaer County specifications or Best Value according to NYS GML § 103 as defined in NYS Finance Law § 163. Bid pricing must be net and include transportation and delivery charges fully paid to delivery points as specified and exclusive of all Federal, State Municipal sales and excise taxes. Rensselaer County reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, waive any informalities, re-bid, if necessary, when it appears to be in the County’s best interest.
Rensselaer County may choose to reject Bid(s) from a Vendor with documented past poor performance with Rensselaer County or other Political Subdivisions.

The vendor shall agree upon the menus, menu cycles, portion sizes and recipes as specified by the Rensselaer County Department for Youth (Program Sponsor). The menus, portion sizes, and recipes shall be in compliance with the United States Department of Agriculture minimal meal requirements for "Type A Meals", with additional requirements deemed necessary by the Department for Youth (DFY) to provide an adequate meal service to the participating children.
