Description

The Board of Education of the Suffern Central School District invites sealed proposals for providing the following transportation services during the 2025-26, 2026-27, 2027-28 school years:
(1) transportation to and from schools in-district and out-of-district for public, nonpublic and special education pupils during the regular school year (September to June of each school year), (2) transportation to and from school in-district and outof- district for public and special education pupils during the summer (July to August of each school year) and (3) transportation for sports trips, field trips, interscholastic trips and other purposes. The Request for Proposal including forms for proposal, certifications, conditions, specifications, and cost may be obtained from the District’s Business Office at the Administration Building, 45 Mountain Avenue, Hillburn, New York 10931.

A Meeting of potential contractors will be held at 10:00 AM on May 15, 2025 to address questions or concerns relative to the proposed contract, which will be held in-person at the School District's Administration Building.

All proposals must be sealed when delivered. One (1) original and three (3) copies of each proposal and its related materials must be received by the Suffern Central School District by 10 a.m. on May 22, 2025 in an envelope, package or box clearly marked: PUPIL TRANSPORTATION PROPOSAL: RFP #SCSDPTS05222025 Opening: May 22, 2025 @ 10 a.m.
