RFP-COOP-13-2026 - Building Condition Survey (BCS)

It is the intent of this specification to describe the minimum requirements for providing Building Conditions Surveys (BCS) as required every five-years by the New York State Department of Education (NYSED) for the Cooperative School Districts listed in this document.  Surveys will be conducted in a manner that is consistent with the provisions as listed in the latest edition of the Manual for Fire and Building Safety Inspections in Public and Nonpublic Schools as published by the Office of the State Education Department, Office of Facilities Planning, and in accordance with all directives and memoranda from NYSED.
