Summary of Specifications:
The project consists of rehabilitation of the influent building, including replacement of existing mechanical bar screen, grit removal system, and raw sewage pumps, valves, and associated piping (partial), and installation of a new bypass channel and manual bar rack; construction of a polymer feed building (masonry with precast concrete roof system); new effluent water system and associated underground and inside piping; seven new yard hydrants and associated yard piping; new chlorine contact tank dewatering system; modifications to raise rim elevations of five return sludge bypass manholes to above overflow elevation; replacement of five existing distribution box stop planks with weir gates; rehabilitation of two final settling tanks, including replacement of existing steel launders, weirs, and baffles with stainless steel, and new density current baffles; new electric motor actuators retrofitted to two existing chlorine contact tank sluice gates; replace five overhead door operators; access platform and stairs at the digester blower building; SCADA upgrades including underground fiber optic cable runs; landscaping improvements, electrical instrumentation, heating and ventilating, plumbing, and associated appurtenances.
