Summary of Specifications:
Liquid caustic soda shall contain a minimum of 50 percent (50%) membrane grade sodium hydroxide (NaOH). (Note: No shipments of sodium hydroxide less than 50% will be accepted.) It shall be Food Grade quality approved by the New York State Health Department for use in drinking water, and in accordance with the most recent AWWA Standard (AWWA B501-98 or later). Compliance with ANSI/NSF60 and ANSI/NSF61 standards is required. A detailed product specification sheet must be provided at the time of bid. MSD Sheets will also be required prior to shipment.
