NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Nyack Union Free School District, in accordance with Section 103 of Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law, hereby invites the submission of sealed bids on the following:
REPAIRS TO NYACK HIGH SCHOOL MORTAR REPLACEMENT PROJECT BID OPENING APRIL 4, 2012 10:00 A.M. NYACK UNION FREE SCHOOL DISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES
Bidders may obtain the Bid Documents from the Nyack Union Free School District - Business Office, 13A Dickinson Avenue, Nyack, NY beginning Thursday, March 22, 2012 after 8 a.m. A deposit of $100 will be required.
It is recommended that potential Bidders attend a tour of the project on March 27 at 10 a.m. at Nyack High School; 360 Christian Herald Road; Upper Nyack, NY 10960.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check payable to Nyack Union Free School District or by a bid bond for a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, conditioned as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders.
Bids must be presented in a sealed envelope, addressed as follows:

Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. on April 4, 2012 at the Nyack Union Free School District Administrative Offices, 13A Dickinson Avenue, Nyack, New York, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened. Bidders are solely responsible for the arrival of each bid at the place of the bid opening by the appointed time, regardless of the means of delivery.
Bids shall remain firm for a period of fifteen (15) days following the date of the bid opening.
The Nyack Union Free School District reserve the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids, or to accept that bid which, in the District’s judgment, is in the best interest of the School District.
The Nyack Union Free School District reserves the right to consider experience, service and reputation in the above-referenced field. In addition, The District reserves the right to consider the financial responsibility and specific qualifications, as set out herein, of the prospective bidder in its evaluation of the bids and award of the contracts.
