New Hackensack Fire District
Notice to Bidders
The Board of Fire Commissioners of the New Hackensack Fire District, Town of Wappinger,
Dutchess County, New York hereby solicits sealed bids to supply and install ductless heat pump system(s)
in the Training Classroom located at the Fire District’s headquarters located at 217 Myers Corners Road,
Town of Wappinger, New York.
Separate sealed bids with non-collusion bidding certificates will be received by the Board of Fire
Commissioners at the New Hackensack Fire District offices, 217 Myers Corners Road, Town of Wappinger,
Dutchess County, New York, until 6:30 pm on March 6, 2025 at which time they shall be opened and read
aloud. Any bid received after that time will be returned to the bidder unopened.

The Board of Fire Commissioners, hereinafter called the Board reserves the right to reject any or
all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the
Board and, in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stated bid amounts, to accept the most
advantageous construction to the Board or to reject the bid.
Bidders shall be required to comply with the provisions of section 291-299 of the Executive Law
of the State of New York.
The New Hackensack Fire District hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that
in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will
be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated
against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for any award.
No bid, once delivered to the Board, may be withdrawn until the expiration of 45 days from the
date the bids are opened.
