BID #20-21-04 - Pest Management Services

The successful bidder shall adhere to all laws, rules, regulations, protocols and guidance issued by the Federal, State or local governments or agencies applicable to the performance of the work of this contract in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.


The Contractor shall provide a comprehensive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Plan for the buildings and other areas specified in the bid to deliver a systematic approach to managing pests which focuses on long term prevention or suppression with minimal impact on human health, the environment and non-target organisms. The Contractor, as part of its routine pest management services, shall provide in-service training to the District’s buildings and grounds staff. Basic training on preventative maintenance shall commence once a year. IPM incorporates all reasonable measures to prevent pest problems by properly identifying pests, monitoring population dynamics, and utilizing cultural, physical, biological or chemical pest population control methods to reduce pests.
