RFP 22-03 - Strategic Planning Consultant

Monroe Community College (MCC) is seeking proposals for consulting and/or facilitation services to guide the development of a new Strategic Plan.  Development of a Strategic Plan should be a college wide, inclusive planning process that will utilize internal/external stakeholder input and relevant factors affecting higher education generally and MCC specifically.  In order to focus and prioritize college goals for the future, the plan should be grounded in data.  These goals may result in a reexamination of the college mission, vision, and values.

MCC’s Strategic Plan will be used to guide MCC over the next five years September 2022 through August 2027. The selected firm or individual will:

• have demonstrated experience in successfully developing and implementing College/University strategic plans; preferably with community colleges.
• have strong facilitation and cultural competence skills.
• have proven experience with shared- governance organizations and an understanding of the structure and mission of community colleges. 
• Experience with State University of New York (SUNY) System community colleges is preferable.
