Description

Sealed bids for Pretreated and Untreated Bulk Granular Sodium Chloride (crushed rock salt) for Livingston County will be received by the Office of the Livingston County Administrator, located at the Livingston County Government Center, 6 Court Street, Room 302, Geneseo, New York, 14454 until 11:00 a.m. on the morning of July 13, 2023. All bids must be placed in a sealed envelope and shall be clearly marked “Sealed bid for Untreated Bulk Granular Sodium Chloride”. Emailed or faxed bids will not be accepted.

Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in Room 208 of said Government Center at 11:00 a.m. on the morning of July 13, 2023.
Copies of Bid Documents may be obtained from the Livingston County Highway Dept. located at 4389 Gypsy Lane, Mt. Morris, New York 14510, by e-mail eszoczei@co.livingston.ny.us or by calling (585) 243‑6700. Bids may also be obtained by download at http://www.bidnetdirect.com.

All bids must be accompanied by a fully executed Non-Collusion Certification and Appendix "D" Certification "Iranian Energy Sector Divestment" pursuant to New York State General Municipal Law Section 103-g in order to be considered. The County of Livingston reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Livingston County is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.

Questions regarding the bid documents are to be emailed to highway@co.livingston.ny.us or faxed to (585)243-6715 to the attention of Jason Wolfanger no later than 4:00 p.m. on July 6, 2023. Only written Requests for Information (RFIs) will be accepted. The questions received and all answers will be sent to all in receipt of the documents no later than 4:00 p.m. on July 10, 2023. If necessary, an addendum to the bidding documents will be issued. All addenda issued shall become part of the Bidding Documents.
