Summary of Specifications:
Ulster County is seeking to sell surplus real property owned by Ulster County and award the sale to the highest, most responsible bidder(s) (the “Successful Bidders”), pursuant to Section 215(6) of the County Law. The property to be bid on consists of seven (7) parcels located in the Towns of Hurley and Ulster. These properties were acquired in 2010 through the Greater Catskill Flood Remediation Program. The conditions of the grant program require that the properties be restricted to, dedicated to, and maintained in perpetuity for use that is compatible with open space, recreation, flood mitigation and/or wetlands management preservation purposes and preclude the erection of any structures upon the premises. Copies of deeds for each parcel are attached hereto as “Attachment 1”. However, there may remain on some parcels, septic systems and wells.
