Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this bid is to establish a price to upgrade the automatic fire sprinkler system at the Golden Hill Health Care Center to ensure compliance with the 1999 NFPA 13 requirements for Long Term Care Facilities as required by the Department of Health & Human Services Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The project includes the replacement of 1,450 existing heads with quick response sprinkler heads as well as the installation of piping and sprinkler heads in several new locations as shown in this document.
