RFB-UC06-142C - ROOFING REPAIR

Summary of Specifications:
The County of Ulster is seeking proposals to repair and recoat a previously installed polyurethane foam/silicone roofing system with GE Silicone Coating/Urethane Roofing System. The roof is approximately 8300 sq. ft and is on a 3 + story masonry structure as well as the west portion of a one story maintenance building. This is a public office building so the contractor will be required to consider public and employee comfort when planning the work. The Contractor will be given access to the job site during normal working hours but will be required to apply the actual coating on a weekend or holiday when the building is not occupied. The Awarded contractor shall, at his expense, remove and dispose of any materials not being reused and keep the worksite clean and safe at all times. 

Only contractors approved and certified by the manufacturer to install the silicone product that is bid will be considered. The product and process required is described in the attached GE ROOFING SYSTEMS RENEWABLE GUIDE SPECIFICATION
