RFP-UC09-115 - NG-911 Capable Phone System for U C Emergency Communications

Summary of Specifications:
Ulster County is issuing a Request for Proposal to furnish, install, test, optimize and train 9-1-1 personnel in the use of a NG-911 Capable Phone System for U C Emergency Communications. The purpose of this RFP is to provide vendors with sufficient information to prepare and submit proposals for consideration by Ulster County. The system will provide conventional and next generation-capable telephony equipment for both 911 and administrative use at the Ulster County Emergency Communications Center. 

The County will meet with qualified vendors regarding their product, proposals and ideas. Thereafter a vendor shall be selected, and the system installed. It is the County’s goal to install a system at the Ulster County Emergency Communications Center, 238 Golden Hill Lane in Kingston, New York; and at the backup Public Safety Answering Point, the New York State Police barracks, 212 Route 299, Highland, New York.
