Description

Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this RFP is to obtain proposals for the necessary hardware and services to integrate additional vehicles into Ulster County’s existing Automatic Vehicle Locator (AVL) System. The goal is to AVL-enable the majority of vehicles in Ulster County’s fleet and to integrate vehicle sensors to report and track certain vehicle events to the AVL Server. Ulster County is not seeking proposals for a replacement AVL system.

The selected firm will be the prime contractor for the project and will be responsible for the entire Scope of Services described herein, including, but not limited to: project management, scheduling and implementation, hardware components, installation services, proof of concept demonstrations, maintenance and support, and training. Ulster County reserves the right to selectively award portions of this RFP.
