Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this bid is to establish a price for application of Cooperative, In-Place Asphalt Paving, and truing and leveling for drainage purposes if requested by the Ulster County Highway Department, for the specified Ulster county roadways.
The contractor will furnish the necessary equipment and labor to accomplish the paving and will work with the assistance of, and in conjunction with, the workforce and equipment of Ulster County Highways and Bridges. Ulster County will supply the asphalt material and all trucking of the material to the job site as well as flagging, when requested. The Ulster County Department of Highways will schedule and coordinate the project with the Awarded vendor.
The anticipated roads to be paved are listed below; however, the list is subject to change depending on the availability of funding. The actual roadways to be paved will be determined by the Commissioner of Public Works. All specified thicknesses are before rolling and compaction.
THE JOB MUST BE COMPLETED NO MORE THAN 6 WEEKS AFTER NOTICE TO START IS GIVEN BY DEPT. OF HIGHWAYS & BRIDGES.
