RFB-UC25-077 - CRACK SEALING OF COUNTY ROADS

The purpose of this bid is to establish a price for the cleaning and sealing of cracks in hot mix asphalt using hot applied sealant for the Ulster County Department of Public Works for indefinite miles of roadway. 

The contractor will furnish all necessary materials, equipment, and labor to accomplish the anticipated work. The anticipated work includes the maintenance and protection traffic (flagging) and the cleaning and sealing of existing primary cracks. Primary cracks are defined as those greater than or equal to 1/8 inch and less than or equal to 1 inch wide. The Ulster County Department of Public Works will schedule and coordinate the project with the Awarded vendor. All materials shall meet the specification of the NYSDOT Item Number 412.76030001 as specified below.

The actual roadways to be crack sealed will be determined by the Commissioner of Public Works.

THE ENTIRE JOB MUST BE COMPLETED NO MORE THAN 6 WEEKS AFTER NOTICE TO START IS GIVEN BY DEPT. OF PUBLIC WORKS.
