REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
The County of Rockland District Attorney’s Office seeks to identify qualified firms to provide a Youth Police Initiative (YPI) Train the Trainer Model program to develop internal capacity within Rockland County in order to offer YPI trainings on a regular basis. The objective is to certify a team of district attorney’s, police officers, and community members over the course of one year to lead and co-lead local YPI trainings.
The Rockland County District Attorney’s Office has requested a sole source contract with North American Family Institute (NAFI) to license and use their copyrighted training manual and survey instruments and to provide a Train the Trainer Program.
The Train the Trainer Program is designed to train seven trainer candidates to become certified YPI Trainers. The certification process includes four YPI trainings, on-site planning and debriefing sessions, planned and on-call coaching services, half-day curriculum review sessions as well as guidance and supervision.
Interested firms or non-profit organizations must demonstrate prior experience in providing similar YPI programs and the ability to provide training manuals and survey instruments necessary for a Train the Trainer program.
If you believe your firm is qualified to provide the services identified above, please advise the Purchasing Division of your interest and provide information regarding your qualifications. Detailed experience in providing similar services, as well as providing the required training material must be provided.
