RFP-RC-2012-017 - Valuation of Cell/Radio Tower Licensing Agreements

Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this RFP is to inform the private sector of a potential business opportunity to establish a contract for consulting services for the valuation of current cell/radio/tower antenna license agreements that the County has with various communications providers so that the County can consider the possible sale of such agreements for revenue purposes. 

Rockland County wishes to retain a consultant to provide consulting services to the County relating to the valuation, that is, the market value of current license agreements with various communications providers that allows them to place communications equipment on County owned cell and radio towers. The County is not looking to sell the communication towers, only the license agreements with communication providers. The County currently has six (6) tower locations, twenty-one (21) finalized license agreements and two (2) pending license agreements which are in the process of being finalized. A listing of tower locations and current license agreements are included in this RFP.
