Summary of Specifications:
PURPOSE The purpose of this RFP is to assist the Rockland County Department of Public Transportation (RCDPT) in the review, analysis and/or management of transportation projects and initiatives. The consultant must have good knowledge of transportation planning and be familiar with Rockland County, including its transportation infrastructure.

OBJECTIVES The Transportation Planning staff of RCDPT seeks professional assistance in conducting various transportation efforts including transit development plans, park and ride lot planning/development, transit service planning, transit facility planning, bus service and operations analysis, bicycle and pedestrian initiatives, travel demand management initiatives and review analysis and reporting on regional projects and environmental assessments.
