Summary of Specifications:
The County of Rockland intends to issue a Sole Source award to Teel, Inc. (Teel Technologies) for their PC3000 Flash Version 4 package # AP-PC3-FLASHv4 in the amount of $2,128.00. This purchase will be made on a sole source basis in accordance with the Rockland County Procurement Policy and shall be an addition to existing Teel Forensic Tools and Software (Oxygen Forensics Suite, etc.). The PC-3000 Flash is a hardware-software system intended for recovering data from all NAND based devices (USB Flash Drives, SD, MS, xD, MMC, CF, VoiceRecorder, iPhone, etc.) in such cases where there is no access through the authorized drive interface. The PC-3000 Flash is capable of automatically checking and downloading the latest libraries via the Internet: Memory chip library, ECC algorithm library, XOR library, Library of Analysis algorithms, preparation and research methods page format library and supply circuit library. Package includes: PC Flash Reader, LGA/TLGA-52 adapter (14 x 18), BGA-152 adapter, Circuit Board adapter, Connectors Set, USB 2.0 Defender Cable, PC-3000 Flash Software. This notice is issued for informational purposes only and is NOT a request for competitive quotes. Any interested party that believes they can provide the Forensic Tools noted above by Teel Technologies shall submit a statement of capabilities in sufficient detail to determine if the requirements of this notice can be met; no later than APRIL 21, 2016. A determination by the County not to compete the proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the County. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive solicitation.
