Summary of Specifications:
The County of Rockland intends to issue a Sole Source award to Teel, Inc. (Teel Technologies) for the Ace Laboratory PC-3000 for Windows UDMA E with Data Extractor Upgrade #AP-PC3-UDMA in the amount of $2,800.00. This purchase will be made on a sole source basis in accordance with the Rockland County Procurement Policy and shall be an addition to existing Teel Forensic Tools and Software (Oxygen Forensics Suite, etc.). The AP-PC-UDMA is a hardware-software system intended for diagnosing and repairing HDD based on SATA (Serial ATA) and ATA (IDE) interfaces for numerous vendors (Seagate, Western Digital, Fujitsu, Samsung, Maxtor, Quantum, IBM (HGST), HITACHI, TOSHIBA), for various capacities (from 500MB to 6 TB) and various form factors: 3.5" - desktop drives, 2.5" and 1.8" - laptop drives, and 1.0" - portable drives with Compact Flash interfaces. The PC-3000 UDMA coupled with the Data Extractor UDMA forms the PC-3000 UDMA Professional System that allows you to recover data from SATA, ATA (IDE) HDD. Upgrade Package includes: PC-3000 UDMA hardware – 1; HDD SATA (80 A<) – 1; HDD PATA (70 A<) – 1; PC-PATA-SATA – 1; SATA – SATA Raid Edition (80 A<) – 2; User manual – 1; DVD Software Disk; License Agreement; 1 year warranty for the board, 3 months for all cables and adapters; 1 month Technical Service Support This notice is issued for informational purposes only and is NOT a request for competitive quotes. Any interested party that believes they can provide the Forensic Tools noted above by Teel Technologies shall submit a statement of capabilities in sufficient detail to determine if the requirements of this notice can be met; no later than July 15, 2016. A determination by the County not to compete the proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the County.
