RFI-SSN-RC-2015-006 - Proposed Sole Source Contract - Rehabilitation Services

Summary of Specifications:
The County of Rockland intends to enter into a Sole Source Contract for Program Management Services for the Rehabilitation Department of Summit Park Hospital and Nursing Care center based on specific continuity of care issues during the closing days of the sale process. This contract may be made on a sole source basis in accordance with the Rockland County Procurement Policy. 



The ownership of SPHNCC is in the process of being transferred to a new owner (Sympaticare LLC.); with a closing anticipated within 90 days, contingent upon approvals of the New York State Department of Health. Due to the pending transfer of ownership and more importantly in the interest of patient care, it has been determined that it is in the best interest of the County and SPHNCC to contract with the SPHNCC Buyer to be the sole supplier of Program Management Services for the Rehabilitation Department.
