RFB-RC-03-087 - Paratransit Buses,24-26' w/176 & 22-24' w/158"WB

Summary of Specifications:
The County of Rockland, Department of Public Transportation requests proposals for the manufacture and delivery of Paratransit buses in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth below. The Contract shall be a firm-fixed price Contract. The County of Rockland, Department of Public Transportation intends to buy 2 - 24/26 - 176” Wheel Base, 8 - 22/24 - 158” Wheel Base Paratransit Buses upon contract award. Pricing for any additional purchases “Optional” units will remain fixed for one year after the delivery of the last bus of the first order. After that time, any additional units ordered will be adjusted using the price at the date of award and adjusting the price using the PPI index for Series ID1413 trucks and buses at the time the option is exercised. Award will be a single award to the lowest responsible vendor based on the total of lines 1 through 3 on pricing schedule. Award can be of multiple manufacturers.
