Summary of Specifications:
Preventative Maintenence, Emergency Repair, Repair and Realignment for Electronic Security System, Door Sensors, Panels and Related Equipment for the Rockland County Correctional Center. The purpose of this RFP is to inform the private sector of a potential business opportunity to establish a contract to provide Security System Preventative Maintenance and Emergency Repair Services to the Rockland County Correction Center, 55 New Hempstead Road as identified in the attached specifications. The proposal response shall comply in all material respects with the requirements of the law, regulation and conditions set forth in the solicitation. The proposal response shall meet all solicitation requirements. The award will be a single award, with both an annual Firm Fixed Price and Time and Materials. Pricing should be based on fully burdened labor rates to perform this work. The Contractor shall provide hardware and software modifications & maintenance for Com-Tec Security System Access Control System (ACS) and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) equipment located at the Rockland County Correctional Center. The Contractor shall also provide parts, labor, materials, tools, equipment, services and supervision required to maintain and monitor the current system. County-owned equipment is currently installed and operational at the site. All of the ACS, CCTV, associated equipment, and hardware such as magnetic balanced switches, electronic door strikes, panic/crash bars, push-to-exit buttons and RX switches, motion detectors, emergency backup batteries, control units, and control & power wiring for the system are also County owned. This contract shall also service any secondary ACS system and upgrade and maintain the CCTV system. Awarded Contractor to validate and identify all Security equipment on Attachment B.
