Summary of Specifications:
The Rockland County Department of General Services - Purchasing Division invites proposals from experienced law firms in response to this Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide legal services to the County on behalf of the County Attorney. Background The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from outside counsel to advise the County Attorney with regard to the legal issues presented in a bid solicitation and/or presentation in any legal proceedings arising out of the bid solicitation in the courts of the State of New York involving public transit maintenance and operation services in the County of Rockland. Proposal Proposers may submit proposals to provide all services as set forth in this RFP no later than October 11, 2012, 5:00 pm. Each interested Proposer shall fax a brief Notice of Intent (Receipt Confirmation Form) to Paul J. Brennan, CPPO, Director of Purchasing, at 845-364-3809 on or before Close of Business (COB) October 5, 2012. Such notice should contain the proposer’s name, address, telephone number, email address and contact person. Submission of a Notice of Intent is strongly encouraged, although not a prerequisite for submitting a proposal. Questions regarding this RFP should also be faxed to the attention of Paul J. Brennan at 845-364-3809 on or before (COB) October 5, 2012. Responses to any questions received will be furnished to all in the form of an addendum.
