FOB: DESTINATION
TRADE-In Allowance- The County currently has a KIP 2052. Please indicate a Trade-In Value in the comment section of this quote. If no Trade-In Value being offered - then indicate that also. The County of Rockland reserves the right to lease the equipment with or without accepting the Trade-In offered.
Lessor’s obligation to maintain the equipment under this lease shall terminate upon exercise by the County of Rockland of its purchase option.
Title to the equipment shall pass to the County of Rockland upon notification to the lessor of the County of Rockland’s intent to exercise its purchase option at the end of the 39 lease period. Lease payments shall cease when the County of Rockland gives the lessor notice of its exercise of the option.
APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS - If sufficient funds are not appropriated or allocated for payment under the Agreement for any future fiscal period, Lessee, at its option, may terminate the Agreement upon ten (10) days prior written notice to Lessor, except for amounts due up to the time of termination. In addition, Lessee shall certify and warrant in writing that sufficient funds have not been appropriated to continue the Agreement for the next fiscal year.
If the County of Rockland decides not to purchase the equipment at the end of the lease, the vendor shall remove the equipment from the premises at no charge to the County of Rockland.
AWARD - Award shall be in the best interest of the County as to whether to lease the NEW or Used equipment. The County shall also decide whether it will accept the Trade-In offered or to dispose of the current equipment ourselves. The County of Rockland Award shall be based on the totals of Items 1A+1B, Item 3 and Item 4 or Items 2A+2B + Item 3 and Item 4. The County shall apply the Trade-In value offered to determine the lowest cost to both the NEW and USED offers.
Insurance Certificate - A copy of the County of Rockland Insurance requirements are attached to this solicitation. Please download the requirements. Vendor recommended for award shall provide the requirement insurance certificates within five (5) days of request.
