Summary of Specifications:
It is the intent of the County to select a firm with experience in design, wrapping, removal and replacement of new Decals/Markings on four (4) 1999 Nova Transit Coaches being provided to the County of Rockland Department of Public Transportation by the Capital District Transit Authority (CDTA), Albany, NY. After the County of Rockland Public Transportation takes possession, accepts and registers and inspects the transferred vehicles, arrangements shall be made to either have the vehicles delivered to the awarded contractors wrapping facility or portered by the awarded contractor of this solicitation for rebranding. It is the RCDPT's preference that the vehicles be wrapped at the awarded vendors wrapping facility; however it may be required to have them wrapped at the RCDPT, Building T, Sanatorium Road, Pomona, NY 10970 location. Alternate pricing shall also be provided in the bid response to perform the service at the Pomona location. Examples of the current design used on the RCDPT fleet are attached (Exhibit 12). Contractor shall prepare the graphic design / artwork for the vehicle wraps. All final artwork shall be the property of the County of Rockland. There are also bus numbers on the top of each bus that will need to be removed and replaced. The RCDPT shall provide all information and identifying vehicle numbers. Contractor shall use a 3M or approved Premium all cut vinyl full wrap graphics for 40' Nova bus. Full wrap to include roof. No perforated window film. Pricing shall also be provided with 3M perforated window film to allow riders to see through the windows and without the windows covered at all.
