FULL RFP TITLE: Engineering Consultant Services for the RC Soil & Water ConservationDistrict specific to Administration of WQIP MS4 Rounds 8 & 9 consolicated funding Phase II Storm Water Permit Implementation. PURPOSE The County of Rockland, Purchasing Division, is letting out this Request for Proposal at the request of the Rockland County Soil and Water Conservation District. The purpose of this RFP is to inform the private sector of a potential business opportunity to establish a contract for the Rockland County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) who has received (1) Round 8 and (1) Round 9 MS4 - Phase II Stormwater Permit Implementation Project grants. The SWCD is seeking to obtain from qualified Engineering firms, professional services for the administration of these grants as per all of the requirements mandated by the NYS DEC. PROJECT BACKGROUND The SWCD has obtained on behalf of the newly formed Stormwater Consortium of Rockland County the Round 8 and 9 grants. A total of 16 designated MS4’s will utilize the grants funds to complete the development and ongoing implementation of the Phase II requirements.
