RFB-RC-2014-102 - Electric Actuators - REmove, Furnish, Install and Start-Up

Summary of Specifications:
The scope of this bid is to secure firm prices to remove, furnish, deliver, install and startup replacement LIMITORQUE electric actuators for the main pumps isolation valves at the Rockland County Sewer District No. 1. The work shall also include the removal of the existing actuators, testing and startup of the new actuators. Contractor shall assume all responsibility for sizing of the actuator and adaptation to the existing valves and new actuator. The existing valves are detailed on the proposal pages. The existing main pump isolation valves are of different sizes and different manufacturers. The bidder shall ensure compatibility of existing control system wiring and new actuators. Contractor shall provide all necessary supervision, labor, tools and equipment to safely and efficiently dismount, remove, rig, and install and start up the new actuators. The actuators being replaced include but not limited to LIMITORQUE SMC, Size: 0, Order # 3P5273A, Serial No.s L386578/79/80/81/82, LIMITORQUE SMB Order # 3D3276A/B, EIM model: n/a. The contractor is responsible for selecting the physical size of the actuator that best fit each assigned valve.
