RFB-RC-2016-016 - Dewatering Container Rental, Hauling and Disposal of Sewer Grit

Summary of Specifications:
The scope of this bid is to contract with an experienced contractor to provide labor, equipment and material for the rental of a dewatering container, as well as the transportation and disposal of sewer grit from the Rockland County Sewer District No. 1 Plant, located at 4 Route 340, Orangeburg, NY on an as needed basis. The Contractor shall provide a dewatering container equipped with filter membrane that allows for the removal and collection of liquid from the sewer grits on an as needed basis. The equipment provided shall allow for maximum liquid removal to reduce the overall weight of the sewer grit to be transported and disposed. RCSD#1 personnel shall remove and dispose of the collected liquid. The Contractor shall transport the dewatered sewer grit on an as needed basis. The Contractor shall dispose of the dewatered sewer grit on an as needed basis.
