CONSULTING SERVICES FOR BUS PROCUREMENT TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: BUS BID SPECIFICATION WRITING AND ASSISTANCE DURING THE BID PROCESS, PRE-AWARD AND POST AWARD AUDITS, IN-LINE INSPECTIONS SERVICES, PRE & POST BUY AMERICA AUDITS, AND OTHER RELATED SERVICES AS NEEDED. Pre-Bid meeting on August 8, 2006, 10:00 am - see specifications for location. The purpose of this RFP is to inform the private sector of a potential business opportunity to provide consulting services, to include, but not limited to, providing complete competitive bid specification packages for the procurement of buses, monitor the procurement process and conduct inspection of regular diesel and hybrid buses (including low floor buses) for the County Of Rockland. Rockland County intends for this Request for Proposal to result in the selection of qualified individual(s) or firm(s) to assist with the services specified. In the best interest of the County the award may be to one or more providers of consulting services to the bus procurement and bus fleet inspection for the Rockland County Department of Public Transportation.
