Summary of Specifications:
The County of Rockland has issued this Request for Proposal on behalf of the County Executive’s Office, Personnel Department and other authorized County Representatives to reach out to the vendor community to form a Qualified Suppliers to provide Consultant Services for Organizational,Training and Employee Development Services on an as needed basis for the term of this RFP. Based on the proposals received, the County will develop a Qualified Suppliers List for Organizational, Taining and Employee Development Consultants. Selection to the Qualified Suppliers List does not guarantee in any way a commitment by the County to use the supplier’s services. As the need for various Consultant Services as listed arise, the County Executive’s Office, Personnel Department or other authorized County Representative shall solicit project specific; technical, man-hour and cost proposals and project schedules from firms on the Qualified Suppliers List. Contract award will be made on the basis of the County Executive’s Office, Personnel Department’s, or other authorized County Representative's evaluation of the technical and man-hour proposals and project schedules submitted by each firm. The material submitted will be evaluated to assess each consultant’s understanding of the project and his ability to expeditiously complete it. The County of Rockland is not mandated to contract with the lowest cost quotation.
