RFP-RC-07-025 - Consulting Services - Energy Master Plan

Summary of Specifications:
The County of Rockland’s Purchasing Division is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified individuals or firms to provide the specific services of an “on-call energy consultant” to advise on the technical and analytical aspects of fuel and energy supply as related to the County’s facilities located in New City, Pomona and Orangeburg, NY, as well as other utility related facilities issues. The energy consultant will be expected to act in the capacity of an independent, unbiased risk analyst in providing said services as described elsewhere in this document including but not limited to the development of goals, strategies, and policy initiatives to be included in a “County Energy Plan. The County will provide any interested proposer with an Authorization Form (Exhibit A) which will allow proposers to obtain our energy consumption history from Orange and Rockland Utilities. Interested firms should complete the Authorization Form with their firm’s information and fax or e-mail it to the contact person for this solicitation. The County will sign the Authorization form and return it to the firm.
