Summary of Specifications:
DOWNLOAD THE COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS AND THE BID SCHEDULE ATTACHED SEPARATELY. SCOPE OF WORK: This solicitation is for the purchase of approved New Compatible Toner Cartridges that have been fully manufactured to specifications equal to, or exceeding original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM) cartridge standards of quality and performance and approved manufactured toner cartridge industry standards for toner cartridges as listed on the Bid Schedule and for the collection and recycling of used cartridges only. Offers for printer maintenance will not be considered. The recycling / take back program must be in place and user friendly. The awarded vendor(s) shall furnish approved New Compatible Toner Cartridges listed in these specifications and deliver them as purchase orders are issued on an as needed basis to the various Rockland County Agencies. Proof of compatibility shall be provided at time of bid response. The quantities listed in the Bid Schedule are estimates only for evaluation purposes and is a representation of the last 12 months purchases. There are no guarantees as to the amount the County of Rockland will Purchase. It is the intent of the County to purchase goods and services having the least environmental impact within the constraints of statutory purchasing requirements, departmental needs, availability and sound economical considerations. New Compatible, Off-Brand or Generic Products: The definition of “New Compatible” for this solicitation shall be a “new compatible”, “off-brand” or “generic” toner cartridge that is manufactured by a company other than the original printer manufacturer and shall have a New: New High Density Drum, Mag Sleeves, Wiper Blades, Magnetic Tips, Doctor blades, Seals, Catch Blades, Retention Blades, Foams and Gaskets. Toner shall be compatible with the delivery system the manufacturer intended and shall be of equal melt and electrical properties, particle size.
