RFB-RC-2017-076 - Bus Shelters- Furnish, Deliver, Maintain, Repair and Install

The Rockland County Department of Public Transportation (RCDPT), is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractor(s) to furnish, deliver, maintain, repair and install new and/or replacement bus shelters which shall include benches, map display cases, solar panels, and lighting on an as needed basis on bus routes operated by a variety of bus systems. The RCDPT anticipates that the terms of the contract will require approximately 5 to 10 new/replacement bus shelters to be installed throughout the County of Rockland.  However, the terms of the contract will allow for additional installations if subsequently determined by the County of Rockland. The bus shelters will be procured and installed with funding assistance from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) and is subject to the availability of this funding.  Currently installed bus shelters have been procured with funding assistance from the same above noted agencies.  Therefore, compliance to FTA’s and NYSDOT’s rules and regulations must be followed.
