Summary of Specifications:
The County of Rockland, Department of General Services, Facilities Management Capital Projects, is seeking to obtain from qualified professional architectural/engineering firms, design services for the development and preparation of plans and specifications for Building L Improvements at the Dr. Robert L. Yeager Health Center, Pomona, N.Y. These plans and specifications shall be in complete compliance with the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code, New York State Wicks Law, Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), NFPA, ASME, ANSI and all other governing agency codes and standards. The County of Rockland, Facilities Management Capital Projects, is seeking to enter into a contract for Architectural/Engineering Design Services for the preparation of plans and specifications for exterior, interior and site improvements of Building L. Building “L” was constructed in 1929. The building is three (3) stories in height and constructed of masonry and stone. The exterior of the building and surrounding site requires repair and improvements. The building main entrance, lobby and reception desk provide initial reception and waiting areas for the public. These areas along with building exterior, entrance doors, sidewalks, handicapped accessibility have provided the only means to enter and exit the building.
